The Beauty Shop
Think of it as a museum store, without the museum.
The Beauty Shop was the name of a studio/gallery space I had in New Orleans from 2010-2015. The building was an old corner store that served as a hair salon in the past. There was hand-painted lettering in the transom of the door that read "The Beauty Shop" and it was charming so I adopted the name, since, after all, an art gallery is a place for beautiful things. I closed shop in 2015 to travel the world, but I never could let go of the concept. The new online Beauty Shop will serve as a place for more beautiful things. I will use The Beauty Shop to offer you a new range of products, merchandise, objet d'art, capsule collections and collaborations, beyond the two dimensional artworks you are used to seeing from me. The selection will change and vary so you will never be quite sure what to expect. The only thing you can be sure of is BEAUTY. I hope you will love collecting.
