Introducing Bespoke Commissions
A custom artwork painted for you by Rebecca Rebouché—inspired by your favorite Rebouché originals from over the years.
After nearly a decade of sold-out collections, I’m now offering these bespoke commissions as a way for you to collect the art you love. This type of commission is a unique process to create artwork that is quintessentially Rebecca, but altogether new.
How it works:
The Bespoke Commission process is simple. Upon purchase, you will be presented with a robust portfolio of some of my best work from the past 15 years. You are invited to select 3-5 of your favorite artworks from that portfolio. You are also invited to upload any imagery of your space or important symbolism you want me to consider when making your piece. From there, I will make a custom artwork for you, inspired by the pieces you have chosen, but entirely new.
I love painting in this way. It allows me to speak a language of symbols I have written over a decade. But I get to turn the spotlight on you and make art that is less about me and more about you and the things you are drawn to. I love discovering the images you have chosen and finding the thread of truth in them, the themes that tie them together. It is this thread, this theme that guides me as I sketch a new composition for you. Often I find myself arriving at a place I may have never found had you not prompted me to go wandering down your path. This is the magic of art. With it we speak a language of symbols, a way to catalogue our memories, transmute our pain, or immortalize our passions.
